here is a shot of the rod going up to the equlizer bar. it is here i found another issue. the hole thru the floor was on the angle of the floorboards. i decided i would trim here (i had to replace the floor board anyway (rotted out) and i will use a shifter boot to cover the hole or a throwup arm cover boot).
