The last modification I needed to make was the original EGR pipe. The carb EGR pipe exited towards the tire and then routed up underneath the carb. The EFI EGR pipe exited towards the firewall and went behind the engine. A complete custom pipe was in order. I originally planned on it, but couldn't come up with a solution, so I just blocked them off.
Fortunately, after all is said and done, I passed my local emissions test with absolutely no problems with no EGR or smog pump. Glad I went with the three way cat.
