I scored a whole pile of scrap metal, so I sat down with a CAD program and sketched out some ideas. I also practiced a little bit with a welder, I hadn't touched one in over 25 years.
After the first couple of days work, I have the basic frame and grill guard in place. Lights are mounted, but not wired in yet. Hi-lift jack is in its temporary location. When the rear bumper is mounted, the jack will go back there.
