Mercury Marquis
1977 Mercury Marquis Specs & Photos
The 1977 Mercury Marquis was in the fifth year of the 1973-1978 full-size generation, still on a 124-inch wheelbase while General Motors downsized its competing full-size cars that same season. Engine choices were the 400 cu in V8, standard on the base Marquis, and the 460 cu in V8, which came standard on the Marquis Brougham and Grand Marquis. The range ran from base Marquis through Marquis Brougham to Grand Marquis, which was still a trim level of the Marquis rather than a separate model.
