These common adapters are slightly larger than a standard cigar socket, so it's easy to widen the PowerPoint hole and install one. The negative terminal can be removed from the black connector shell, allowing the wires to be simply plugged onto the adapter's blades. The cover flap is not necessary since the USB sockets are too small for loose objects to fall into.
