Ford Taurus SHO 3.0L/3.2L Engine Compartment Component Location Diagram

This document is an engine compartment component location diagram for a Ford Taurus SHO with the 24-valve DOHC engine (covering both 3.0L and 3.2L SHO variants). The illustration shows an overhead/front view of the engine bay with callout arrows identifying key underhood service points: the power steering pump dipstick (with a note that fluid should be in the FULL COLD or FULL HOT range depending on temperature), drive belts, engine oil drain plug in the oil pan, brake master cylinder, automatic transaxle dipstick (3.2L SHO only), manual transaxle fill plug (fill to bottom of filler hole with vehicle level), air cleaner element (Motorcraft FA-1042), radiator cap, radiator coolant recovery reservoirs (separate locations for 3.2L and 3.0L engines), oil filler cap, windshield washer reservoir, battery (BXT-34), the "CHECK ENGINE OIL" level indicator, and the oil filter (FL400-A, with instruction to coat the gasket with engine oil and replace at the recommended interval).
