Ford Taurus SHO V6 DIS Wiring Diagram - Distributorless Ignition Schematic

This document is a wiring schematic for the Distributorless Ignition System (DIS) on the V6 Ford Taurus SHO. It shows how the Cam Position Sensor (CID signal) and Crank Position Sensor (PIP signal) connect to the DIS Module, and how the DIS Module drives a three-coil coil pack that fires the six spark plugs in waste-spark pairs: Coil 1 fires plugs 1 and 5 (Y/BK wire), Coil 2 fires plugs 3 and 4 (Y/R wire), and Coil 3 fires plugs 2 and 6 (Y/W wire). Both sensors receive VBAT power on R/LG wires and ignition ground on O/R wires. The schematic identifies DIS Module pin numbers (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12) and PCM pin numbers (4 for IDM, 24 for CID, 36 for Spout, 56 for PIP). Wire color codes are labeled throughout, including LB for CID, GY for PIP, DG and DB signal wires, Y/G for the Spout signal, and GY/O, T/Y, W/PK at the DIS Module IDM circuit.
