30 KW Generator Service Instructions Plate - Fuel, Oil Specs & Capacities

This is a photograph of a metal service instructions data plate mounted on a 30 KW generator (military-style equipment). The plate contains two tables. The first table lists recommended fluids by ambient temperature range: for -65° to -25°F, -25° to 0°F, 0° to 20°F, and 20° to 125°F, it specifies the diesel fuel grade (VV-F-800 grades DFA, DF-1, and DF-2), JP4 fuel spec (MIL-T-5624 for all ranges), lubricating oil (MIL-L-10295 for cold ranges, MIL-L-2104 for warmer ranges), hydraulic oil (MIL-H-5606 for all ranges), and engine coolant (MIL-A-11755 for all ranges). The second table, titled SYSTEM CAPACITIES, gives fluid capacities: hydraulic system sump 1 gallon; lubricating system crankcase and oil filter 8 quarts; fuel tank 26 gallons; cooling system radiator 10.24 quarts, block 14 quarts, heater 2 quarts.
