The 2010 Volkswagen Passat closed out the B6 generation in the United States, consolidated to a single Komfort trim with the 200 horsepower 2.0-liter turbo four and a standard 6-speed DSG dual-clutch automatic in sedan and wagon body styles. No 2011 Passat followed; the nameplate returned for 2012 with the larger Chattanooga-built NMS sedan, making 2010 the last German-built Passat sold in America.
