The 1963 Chevrolet Nova introduced the first Nova SS, RPO Z03, a Super Sport trim package for the Nova 400 Sport Coupe and convertible with special emblems, full wheel covers, and upgraded interior trim. Power still came from the 194-cubic-inch six rated 120 horsepower gross, as Chevrolet offered no factory V8 in the Chevy II. 1963 was also the final year for the Chevy II convertible.
