The 1976 Chevrolet Nova entered the second year of its fourth-generation restyle with the luxury Concours series, renamed from the 1975 Nova LN, at the top of the line. Chevrolet's new 305-cubic-inch V8, rated 140 horsepower net, debuted this year between the 105-horsepower 250 six and the 350 V8. 1976 was also the final year for the Nova SS package.
