1989 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 Specs & Photos
The 1989 Chevrolet C2500 and K2500 entered the second year of the GMT400 generation, carrying the rear-wheel anti-lock brakes fitted as standard equipment since the platform's 1988 launch. The 5.7-liter TBI V8 carried a 210 net horsepower rating, the 7.4-liter 454 remained the big tow engine, and the 6.2-liter diesel returned, while crew cabs still used the previous R/V body. Silverado continued as the top trim above Scottsdale and Cheyenne.
