Ford Bronco
1980 Ford Bronco Specs & Photos
The 1980 Ford Bronco opened the third generation with a full redesign onto the lighter "Bullnose" F-series body and Ford's new Twin-Traction Beam independent front suspension using a Dana 44 axle, a response to post-1979 fuel-economy pressure. The 302 returned as the base V8 and the optional 5.8L was the carried-over 351M (335-series), with the 400 V8 dropped after 1979.
The 1980 Ford Bronco is part of the Third-Generation Bronco (Bullnose) generation (1980–1986). See the full Ford Bronco 1980–1986 registry →
