1980-1986 Ford Bronco/Truck Fender Exploded Parts Diagram with Torque Specs
Exploded parts diagram of 1980-86 front fender assembly showing apron, reinforcements, fasteners and torque values.
This document is an exploded parts diagram for the front fenders of 1980–1986 Ford trucks/Broncos, labeled "Fenders '80-86." It shows the right-hand fender assembly (with left-hand typical except as noted) and illustrates how the fender assembly (16005), apron (16044), bumper (16758), reinforcements (16B072, 16060, 16C186, 16A236), and hardware attach to the body structure. Fastener part numbers are called out throughout, including bolts N605893-S101, N606677-S43B, N605893-S36, N606703-S36B, and N606689-S36; screws 55927-S43B and 56902-S36B; nuts N623332-S101, N800538-S100, 45260-S2, 45260-S36B, N801107-S100, and 623332-S100; rivet 387843-S; and shims 387324-S or 387325-S (as required). Torque specifications are given for several fasteners, e.g., 9-14 N·m (7-10 ft-lbs), 45-70 N·m (34-51 ft-lbs), 22-34 N·m (17-25 ft-lbs), and 10-15 N·m (8-11 ft-lbs). Two insets are included: one showing L.H.-side-only attachment of the apron and fender, and "View A" detailing the battery bracket (10755), brace (10727), bolt 10756, and associated reinforcements. A restorer or mechanic can use this diagram to identify all fender attachment hardware, correct part numbers, and proper torque values for fender removal or installation.
