The 1995 Honda Accord gained the model's first V6, a 2.7-liter SOHC engine derived from the Acura Legend and rated at 170 horsepower. The V6 came only with a four-speed automatic and only in the sedan body. Four-cylinder models carried over unchanged, with 130 horsepower in DX and LX trim and 145 in the VTEC EX.
