The 2014 Honda Accord added the two-motor Accord Hybrid, EPA rated at 50 mpg city at launch. Ninth-generation sedans and coupes continued with the direct-injected 2.4-liter four, rated at 185 horsepower or 189 in the Sport, and the 278 horsepower 3.5-liter V6. Four-cylinder cars used a CVT or six-speed manual.
