Moroso 20554 & 20555 Aluminum Oil Pan Install - Ford F-150, Lightning, Mustang

This document is page one of the Moroso installation instructions for aluminum oil pans, part numbers 20554 and 20555, designed for the Ford F-150, Lightning Pickup, and Mustang. The instructions state the pan can be installed on the Generation 2 Ford Lightning Pickup with the 5.4L supercharged engine, as well as on non-supercharged modular motors (4.6L or 5.4L) in two-wheel-drive Ford F-150 trucks and Mustangs. Because stock oil pan removal varies between these vehicles, the sheet directs the installer to follow the procedure for their particular vehicle and to refer to factory service manuals for all torque specs and procedures. The visible portion of the 'Removal of stock oil pan' procedure lists seven steps: disconnecting the battery, removing the drain plug and draining the oil, removing the dipstick, loosening engine mounting bolts and removing transmission mount nuts, supporting the front of the engine with proper equipment and safety precautions while removing the engine mounting bolts, raising the front of the engine approximately two inches, and removing the transmission dust shield.
