1972 Ford LTD Specs & Photos
The 1972 Ford LTD switched to SAE net power ratings along with the rest of the industry, listing its 351, 400, and 429 V8s at figures that looked far lower on paper than the 1971 gross numbers. It was the final year for the LTD convertible, the last factory-built full-size Ford convertible, with 4,234 produced. The convertible had moved to the LTD line after the XL series ended following 1970.
