1983 Ford LTD Specs & Photos

The 1983 Ford LTD reinvented the nameplate as a midsize sedan and wagon on the 105.6 inch wheelbase Fox platform, replacing the Granada while the full-size car became the LTD Crown Victoria. Aerodynamic front and rear styling distinguished it from the Granada bodyshell it updated. Engines were a 2.3 liter overhead-cam four, also offered in a propane-fueled version, a 3.3 liter inline six, and the 3.8 liter Essex V6 rated 112 horsepower.
