1976 Ford Ranchero Radiator Support Body Mount Bushing Assembly Diagram

This document is a hand-drawn exploded assembly sketch, photographed on a desk, showing the hardware stack-up for a radiator support body mount. From top to bottom, the labeled components are: a zinc nut, grade 8 lock washer, original washer, and a washer supplied with a kit sitting atop the radiator support; below the support are the original spacer, a large rubber bushing labeled 'big biscuit' with an inner sleeve passing through it, the vehicle frame, a 'small biscuit' bushing beneath the frame, and another kit-supplied washer at the bottom. The entire stack is held together by a grade 8 zinc-plated bolt sized 7/16 x 4 inch. The sketch is useful for anyone rebuilding or replacing radiator support / body mount bushings, since it documents the correct order of washers, spacers, bushings (biscuits), and sleeve, and specifies the replacement bolt grade, plating, and dimensions.
