The large hole in the CS beside the radiator will be used for winch wiring, which is why there's split loom around its bottom edge. The wires there now are for the dash switch.

The HID ballasts are small enough to be easy to fit anywhere, and mine are each hanging from 1 screw in the core support immediately behind the headlight. That keeps the connectors pointing down so water should never get in.

UPDATE: Even though they're mounted well, they didn't last. This is apparently a crappy brand of HID ballast.
