The 1993 Honda Civic added the first Civic coupe, offered with the D15B7 in DX trim or the 125 hp D16Z6 SOHC VTEC in the EX. The same year the Civic del Sol arrived as the CRX's replacement, reshaping the small Honda lineup around the EG platform. The Si and VX hatchbacks continued unchanged.
