The 2000 Honda Civic closed out the sixth generation, making it the last US Civic with double wishbone front suspension. The EM1 Si coupe ran a second and final year with the 160 hp B16A2 DOHC VTEC, and the D16-powered coupes, sedans, and hatchbacks carried over. The strut-front seventh generation arrived for 2001.
