The 2005 Honda Civic closed the seventh generation. It was the final year for the EP3, which remains the last hatchback Si Honda has sold in the US, and the last year for the D17 engine family in the Civic. The 2006 redesign brought the eighth generation and the 197 hp K20Z3 Si.
