This is a scanned Ford Motor Company "Important Engine Information" underhood emissions/tune-up decal (calibration label E6AE-9C485-ADT) for a 7.5L heavy-duty carbureted engine, marked NON-CATALYST and stating it conforms to U.S. EPA regulations for 1986 model year new heavy-duty engines. The left portion gives complete tune-up procedures: ignition timing of 8° BTDC at 800 RPM max for both manual and automatic transmissions (with distributor vacuum hose disconnected and plugged, transmission in neutral); fast idle settings of 2200 RPM (manual, highest cam step) and 1600 RPM (automatic, second step); curb idle of 800 RPM in neutral (manual) or 650 RPM in drive (automatic); dashpot clearance of 2.2–2.9 mm; and spark plug ASF-42 gapped at .042–.046 inch. The label also notes 7.5L EGR/AIP calibration (6.1/7.0/7.5E) and refers readers to the shop manual for choke and idle mixture adjustment. The right half is a color-coded vacuum hose routing diagram showing components including the BPV, air cleaner bi-metal, PCV, EGR valve, VCBV, VDV, IVV, carburetor bowl/spark vents, purge control valve, vacuum check valves, distributor, vacuum restrictor, and lines to the fuel tanks. A torn/damaged section obscures part of the diagram's lower area.
