1990 Ford Bronco Horn & Cigar Lighter Wiring Diagram 44-1 (With/Without Cruise)

This is page 44-1, "Horn/Cigar Lighter," from a Ford wiring diagram manual, uploaded as applying to a 1990 Ford Bronco. It shows two side-by-side wiring schematics: one for vehicles WITH speed control and one WITHOUT speed control. Both circuits are fed from fuse position 16 (30A, hot at all times) in the fuse panel (referenced to pages 12-3 and 12-5) via circuit 460 Y/LB through splice S229 and connector C204 to the cigar lighter and to the horn relay (or horn relay jumper on non-speed-control trucks). The horn control path uses circuit 151 LB/BK through splice S226 and connector C219 to the slip ring and horn switch. On speed-control vehicles the horn switch is integrated into the speed control switch assembly (ON/OFF/SET ACCEL/COAST/RESUME with 680, 120, and 2,200 ohm resistors), grounding at G204. Relay output circuit 6 Y/LG passes through C202 and splice S148 to the left horn (low pitch) and right horn (high pitch).
