Magazine page with a lifted dark Toyota pickup on big mud tires…

Scott Hose had a really well-built 85 Yota pickup. with some high-pinion Ford 9-inch axles and some big Boggers. Scott ended up taking Fourth Place in the event and would gladly ramp on his rig through every obstacle. His clean Toy made us jealous when we thought of our rusted pile Clampy, but we are not really sure that we understand the wing?! Another crowd favorite was Jay Richards in his 76 Chevy. The body had seen better days, and there were times when it didnt want to climb the rocks, but Jay always convinced it to get going with a little right-foot action. There is nothing better than a guy who has nothing to lose behind the wheel of a heater rig in front of a crowd of his friends.
