1960 Ford Falcon Specs & Photos
The 1960 Ford Falcon launched Ford's compact line in October 1959, a unibody car on a 109.5 inch wheelbase. Its sole engine was the 144 cubic inch Mileage Maker six rated at 90 gross horsepower, backed by a three-speed column-shift manual or the two-speed Ford-O-Matic. Two-door and four-door sedans arrived first, with station wagons following in the spring, and first-model-year production topped 435,000 cars.
