The 1993 Ford Falcon was an Australian model year that spanned two series, the EB Series II and the ED released in August 1993. Both ran Ford Australia's 4.0 litre SOHC inline six, with the 5.0 litre Windsor V8 that had returned to the range in 1991, and the ED renamed the Tickford-tuned S-XR6 introduced on the EB Series II to simply XR6. The US-market Falcon had ended in 1970; Falcons of this era are Australian-built.
