The 2004 Ford Falcon was the Australian BA series, which moved to BA Mk II specification in October 2004. Engines spanned the 182 kW 4.0 litre Barra twin-cam six, the 240 kW turbocharged six in the XR6 Turbo, and the 5.4 litre Boss 260 V8 in the XR8. The BA had won Wheels magazine's Car of the Year on debut in 2002. The US Falcon line ended in 1970; every 2004 Falcon is a Ford Australia product.
