M&H Racemaster 10.0/26.0-15 Drag Tire Box Label MHR-064 - Warranty & Warning

This is a photograph of a product label on a cardboard tire box for an M&H Racemaster drag racing tire. The label identifies the product as an M&H Drag tire in size 10.0/26.0-15, compound/model code JVTW6, with part number MHR-064 printed next to the barcode. The label includes the M&H Racemaster tiger-and-tire logo. Two blocks of text are printed: a Warranty Policy and a mounting Warning. The Warranty Policy states race tires are sold AS IS with no warranty, guarantee, or liability expressed or implied; that the tires are not tested or labeled to meet FMVSS109/ECE36 safety standards and are therefore illegal for street or highway use; and that chemically treating or altering the tire or tread compound (such as soaking or tread softener) can cause premature or catastrophic tire failure. The Warning block instructs that tire changing should be done by trained personnel using T&RA-spec wheels, that improper mounting can cause the assembly to burst with explosive force, and gives mounting instructions: clean and lubricate the rim and bead, install the valve core, lock the wheel on a mounting machine or use a safety cage, stand back, and never exceed 35 PSI to seat the beads.
