This is page 3 of the MFI (Multiport Fuel Injection) Control System wiring diagram, sheet SD313-3, for the G4KF-GSL 2.0L turbo engine (Hyundai Genesis Coupe). The diagram shows ignition coil and CAN communication wiring. Power feeds come from the Engine Control Relay (referenced on SD313-1) through two fuses in the E/R Junction Box RH: ECU-2 20A and IGN COIL 20A, then through joint connector JCH81 (PHOTO 19). Four ignition coils (connectors CHG15-1 through CHG15-4 with immobilizer, or CHG18-1 through CHG18-4 without immobilizer, PHOTO 16) and a condenser (CHG19, PHOTO 15) are wired to ECM pins 1, 16, 31, and 46 with wire colors W, P, Br, and L; cylinder assignments differ between IMMO and non-IMMO versions. Shield grounds (black wires) terminate at ground point GHG03 (PHOTO 15). The left side shows CAN High/Low lines from the instrument cluster (SD313-4) passing through joint connectors JM03, JM06, MF11, JABAG, EF11, JE67, EC21, and JCH01 (with M/T vs A/T routing) to ECM pins 77 (High) and 78 (Low). Data link details reference SD200-1 and SD200-2. Photo callouts identify connector locations.

Frequently asked questions

What fuses power the ignition coils and ECU on the 2.0L G4KF Genesis Coupe?
Per diagram SD313-3, the ECU-2 20A fuse and the IGN COIL 20A fuse in the E/R Junction Box RH, fed from the Engine Control Relay (see SD313-1).
Which ECM pins control the ignition coils?
ECM pin 1 (W wire) = CYL.4 with IMMO / CYL.1 without IMMO; pin 16 (P) = CYL.2 with IMMO / CYL.3 without; pin 31 (Br) = CYL.1 with IMMO / CYL.4 without; pin 46 (L) = CYL.3 with IMMO / CYL.2 without. Pin 2 is shield ground.
What are the ignition coil connector designations?
CHG15-1 through CHG15-4 for vehicles with immobilizer, or CHG18-1 through CHG18-4 without immobilizer (connector location PHOTO 16). The condenser is CHG19 (PHOTO 15).
Which ECM pins carry the CAN bus lines?
Pin 77 is CAN High and pin 78 is CAN Low, routed from the instrument cluster (SD313-4) through joint connectors JM03, JM06, MF11, JABAG, EF11, JE67, EC21 and JCH01.
Where do the ignition coil shield grounds terminate?
The shield ground wires (black, B) join and terminate at ground point GHG03, shown in PHOTO 15, and connect to ECM pin 2 (Shield Ground).
