Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8L G6DA Power Distribution Wiring Diagram SD110-5
Power distribution wiring diagram for a Hyundai G6DA 3.8L engine showing ignition coils, cooling fan relays, and oxygen sensor circuits.
This document is page SD110-5, "Power Distribution (5)," a wiring diagram for the G6DA-GSL 3.8L engine. It shows power flow from the B+ 50A feed (referenced on SD110-2) through fuse F into the ECU 30A fuse in the E/R (engine room) junction box RH, then to the Engine Control Relay via connector CLG99. Relay output branches to the Injector 15A circuit (continued on SD110-6), the IGN COIL 20A fuse, and the SNSR-1 10A fuse. The IGN COIL 20A circuit feeds, through joint connector JCL81 and connectors CLGIG/CLG18-1 through CLG18-6, ignition coils #1–#6, condensers #1 and #2 (CLG19-1, CLG19-2), the ECM (via EC21 pin 4 and ELG-A pin 94), and the coil circuits for the cooling fan (HI) relay, cooling fan (LO) relay, and A/CON relay in the E/R junction box LH (connectors E51, E52, E56). The SNSR-1 10A circuit feeds, through joint connector JCL83, oxygen sensors #1 (B1/S1), #2 (B2/S1), #3, and #4 (B2/S2) via CLG93–CLG96, the mass air flow sensor (CLG27), and the ECM (EC21 pin 29, ELG-A pin 99). Wire colors shown include R, G, P, Br, L, W/B, and P/B.

Frequently asked questions
- What fuse powers the ignition coils on the 3.8L G6DA engine?
- The IGN COIL 20A fuse, fed from the Engine Control Relay, powers ignition coils #1 through #6 via joint connector JCL81 and connectors CLG18-1 through CLG18-6.
- What fuse feeds the oxygen sensors on this diagram?
- The SNSR-1 10A fuse supplies oxygen sensors #1 (B1/S1), #2 (B2/S1), #3, and #4 (B2/S2) through joint connector JCL83, as well as the mass air flow sensor.
- What supplies power to the ECU fuse?
- The ECU 30A fuse is fed from B+ through a 50A fuse, referenced from diagram SD110-2, in the E/R Junction Box RH.
- Which relays receive power from this circuit in the E/R junction box LH?
- The cooling fan (HI) relay (connector E51 pin 2), cooling fan (LO) relay (E52 pin 2), and A/CON relay (E56 pin 3) receive W/B and P/B wires from this power distribution circuit.
- What connector and pins connect this circuit to the ECM?
- The ECM is connected via EC21 pin 4 (Br wire) and ELG-A pin 94 on the ignition coil side, and via EC21 pin 29 (P wire) and ELG-A pin 99 on the sensor side.
