1996 Ford Bronco Power Distribution Wiring Diagram 13-2 - Trailer Relays, Fuses
Power distribution wiring diagram for 1996 Ford Bronco covering exterior lamps, rear defrost and trailer lamp circuits.
This is page 13-2 of a Ford power distribution wiring diagram set, labeled "96 Bronco." It shows part of the engine compartment fuse box and how battery power is distributed to several circuits. A 25A fuse (position 4) feeds circuit 37 (violet) to the trailer/marker lamps relay (relay pins 85, 86, 30, 87 shown), whose outputs include circuit 962 BR/W to the trailer/camper adapter (page 95-1) and circuit 14 BR to the exterior lamps (page 92-2). A 30A fuse (position 2) feeds circuit 537 T/Y to 4WABS Relay #1 in the trailer relay box (page 42-1), and another 30A fuse (position 14) feeds circuit 37 V through connectors C202M/C202F and C278 (as circuit 185 BK) to the rear window defrost control (page 56-1). Circuit 37 V also runs to the trailer backup lamps relay in the trailer relay box (page 95-1). Grounding is shown via circuit 57 BK through splice S102 to ground G100 (grounds on page 10-1). A callout "AA" continues the diagram to the engine compartment fuse box on page 13-3. Readers can trace fuse amperages, wire circuit numbers, colors, connector and splice IDs, and cross-referenced diagram pages.

Frequently asked questions
- What size fuse feeds the trailer/marker lamps relay on a 1996 Bronco?
- A 25A fuse (position 4) in the engine compartment fuse box feeds circuit 37 (violet) to the trailer/marker lamps relay.
- What circuit feeds the 4WABS Relay #1 in the trailer relay box?
- Circuit 537 T/Y (tan/yellow), fed through a 30A fuse (position 2) in the engine compartment fuse box, goes to pin 87 of 4WABS Relay #1 (page 42-1).
- How does power reach the rear window defrost control?
- A 30A fuse (position 14) feeds circuit 37 V, which passes through connectors C202M/C202F, becomes circuit 185 BK, and goes through connector C278 pin 2 to the rear window defrost control (page 56-1).
- Where does the trailer/marker lamps relay ground?
- Through circuit 57 BK via splice S102 to ground G100 (see grounds on page 10-1).
- What wire goes to the trailer/camper adapter?
- Circuit 962 BR/W (brown/white) from pin 87 of the trailer/marker lamps relay goes to the trailer/camper adapter (page 95-1).
