This hand-annotated wiring schematic traces the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) circuit from the Rear Axle VSS (1330 Ω, connector C404) through the Ford Bronco's electrical system to the PCM. Signal wires 519 LG/BK (Rear Sensor Low) and 523 RPK (Rear Sensor High) run through connector C205 (pins 10 and 16, Pg 150-8) to the ABS Module at C119 (pins 22, 21, 39, 1; Pgs 42-4/42-5). The ABS module outputs circuit 491 O/LB (Vehicle Speed Input) and 530 LG/Y through C202 (pins 58, 69) to the PSOM at C252 (pins 4, 5, 7, 2; Pgs 60-7 and 42-4). The PSOM's VSS output, circuit 679 GY/BK, passes through C202 pin 21 and splices S231 and S246 to the Speed Control Servo Amp (C216 pin 3, Pg 31-4/31-5), PCM (C185 pin 3, Pg 60-7), and Overhead Console (C914 pin 7, via C229 pin 10 and C299 pin 1, Pg 102-1/102-2). A blue dashed "Jumper wire added" annotation shows a modification connecting the 679 GY/BK signal directly to the PCM. Grounds shown are G100 (LH core support, 87 BK) and G200 (behind RH cowl panel, via S216, 901 R/LB and 676 PK/O). EVTM page references are included throughout.
