Ford Bronco Tailgate Power Window Relay Wiring Diagram - SPDT Relay Upgrade

This document is a hand-modified color wiring diagram (credited to "eighty5eddie") showing an alternate wiring scheme for a Ford Bronco power tailgate window using two SPDT relays. Power originates from fuse panel position 14 (a 20A circuit breaker, hot in ACC or RUN) via a LB/BK wire feeding the master tailgate window switch, plus a heavy 10-gauge wire run from the battery to the driver's side taillight area supplying the relays. The master tailgate window switch (marked "no ground needed") outputs P/LG and PK/LB wires to trigger the coils (pins 85/86) of two SPDT relays, whose contacts (30, 87, 87a) switch battery power. Relay outputs feed through connector 517 to the key-operated tailgate window switch, then via Y/R and T/BK wiring through the tailgate latch switch (which is open when the tailgate is not fully closed) and an R/Y wire to the tailgate power window motor. Wire color codes shown include LB/BK, P/LG, PK/LB, BK/W, Y/R, T/BK, and R/Y. Relay pin numbering (85, 30, 87a, 87, 86) and ground points are labeled for both relays.
