Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8L G6DA MFI Control Wiring Diagram (7) SD313-15
Wiring diagram showing camshaft position sensor circuits, CAN lines and control module connections.
This document is page 7 of the Multiport Fuel Injection (MFI) Control System wiring diagram set for the Hyundai G6DA-GSL 3.8L engine, sheet number SD313-15. It shows ECM (PHOTO 36) wiring connections for several subsystems: CAN #2 High/Low lines to the multipurpose check connector (E45) in the E/R junction box LH; fuel level signal inputs (Total/Middle) referenced to Indicators & Gauges diagram SD940-3; blower switch, A/CON switch-on input, and A/CON relay control referenced to the Blower & A/CON Control System diagrams SD971-3/SD971-9; fuel tank pressure sensor (F43, PHOTO 97) ground, signal, and sensor power circuits through connector EF11; engine speed signal and crank request lines from the PDM (PHOTO 59) via connectors EM51 and EM21; and vehicle speed signal input from the ABS control module (E03) or ESC control module (E15) through connector EC21. The lower half details four camshaft position sensors — #1 intake (CLG13-1), #2 intake (CLG30-2), #2 exhaust (CLG30-1), and #1 exhaust (CLG13-2) — with their sensor power, sensor ground, and signal ECM pins and wire colors (O, B, Br, Gr, G, R). Connector pin numbers, wire colors, and photo references for connector locations are given throughout.

Frequently asked questions
- Which ECM pins connect to the fuel tank pressure sensor on the 3.8L G6DA?
- Per this diagram, sensor connector F43 pins 3, 2, and 1 route through connector EF11 (pins 18, 17, 19) to ECM pin 11 (GND, wire G), pin 61 (Signal, wire L), and pin 65 (Sensor Power, wire P).
- What connectors serve the camshaft position sensors?
- CLG13-1 for camshaft position sensor #1 (intake), CLG30-2 for sensor #2 (intake), CLG30-1 for sensor #2 (exhaust), and CLG13-2 for sensor #1 (exhaust). Each uses pins 1, 2, 3 for sensor power, ground, and signal.
- Where does the ECM get its vehicle speed signal input?
- From either the ABS control module (connector E03 pin 21, wire Br) or the ESC control module (connector E15 pin 41, wire Y), joining through connector EC21 pin 2 to ECM pin 15 (CLG-B, Speed Signal Input, wire Y).
- Which ECM pins carry the CAN #2 lines to the multipurpose check connector?
- ECM pin 8 (CAN #2 High, wire R) and pin 34 (CAN #2 Low, wire L) connect to multipurpose check connector E45 pins 6 and 14 in the E/R junction box LH.
- What other diagram sheets does this page reference?
- It references SD940-3 (Indicators & Gauges) for the fuel level signals and SD971-3 / SD971-9 (Blower & A/CON Control System) for the blower and A/C control circuits.
