1987 Ford LTD Crown Victoria Premium Sound Radio Wiring Diagram - 2-Ch Amp

This document is a Mitchell Repair Information Company system wiring diagram (Fig. 14) for the Premium Sound Radio Circuit with Two Channel Amplifier on a 1987 Ford LTD Crown Victoria. It shows power feeds to the electronic radio from the fuse panel on the left side of the instrument panel: Fuse 11 (15A, hot in ACC or run) via a Yellow/Black wire that also feeds the power antenna system, and Fuse 8 (15A, hot at all times) via a Light Green/Yellow wire. The diagram traces wiring from the solid-state electronic radio through connectors C1101A, C1112, C1119, and C1120 to the two-channel amplifier, which is located at the front of the trunk on sedans or at the left wheelhouse on station wagons. Speaker wire colors are shown for all six speakers: right rear (Pink/Lt Blue, Dk Green/Orange), left rear (Pink/Lt Blue), left and right instrument panel speakers, and left and right door speakers (using Pink/White, Lt Blue/White, Dk Green/Orange, White/Lt Green, and Orange/Lt Green circuits).
