Ford Power Windows Wiring Diagram 100-002 - Front Window Switches & Motor
Automotive wiring diagram for power windows showing left and right window switches, motors and color-coded circuits.
This document is page 100-002, titled "Power Windows," from a Ford factory-style wiring diagram set. It shows the power window circuit for the left front (driver) and right front (passenger) window switches and the right front power window motor. Power arrives on circuit 400 LB/BK from connector C242 (page 100-1), passes through splice S230 (with a branch to the roof opening panel, page 101-1, and to C209, page 100-5 — items marked with an asterisk apply to Lariat trim), through connectors C248F/C248M and splice S248 to both switches. The left front power window switch includes a one-touch-down feature and switch illumination fed by circuit 19 LB/RD from the instrument illumination circuit (page 71-3). Motor feed circuits shown include 995 GY, 991 TN/LB, and 992 WH/BK on the driver side, and 313 WH/YE, 314 TN/LB, 333 YE/RD, and 334 RD/YE on the passenger side through connectors C509, C510, C609, and C606. Grounds are 57 BK wires through splices S500 and S600 to ground G200 (grounds pages 10-9 and 10-10). Connector pin numbers for both switches are labeled.

Frequently asked questions
- What circuit supplies power to the front power window switches?
- Circuit 400 LB/BK, coming from connector C242 (page 100-1), passing through splice S230, connectors C248F/C248M, and splice S248 to both the left and right front power window switches.
- What wire colors run from the driver's switch to the passenger window?
- Circuits 313 WH/YE and 314 TN/LB run from the left front power window switch (through C510) toward the right front power window switch, and 333 YE/RD and 334 RD/YE run from the right switch through C609/C606 to the right front power window motor.
- Where do the power window switches get their ground?
- Both switches ground through 57 BK wires — the left switch via splice S500 (see grounds page 10-9) and the right switch via splice S600 (see grounds page 10-10) — to ground G200.
- What does the asterisk (*) mean on this diagram?
- Items marked with an asterisk (such as the *S230 splice, *400 branch to the roof opening panel, and the branch to C209) apply to the Lariat trim, per the '* LARIAT' note.
- What powers the switch illumination?
- Circuit 19 LB/RD from the instrument illumination circuit (page 71-3) feeds the illumination bulbs in both the left and right front power window switches.
