Ford 5.0L Serpentine Drive Belt Routing Diagram - Motorcraft Underhood Decal

This is a photograph of a factory Motorcraft/Ford under-hood decal showing the serpentine drive belt installation (routing) diagram for the 5.0L engine, printed in both English and French. The schematic shows the belt path around seven pulleys: alternator (ALT.), an upper idler (POULIE FOLLE), power steering (P/S / DIR.), air conditioning compressor (A/C / CLIM.), water pump (POMPE À EAU), crankshaft (VILE-BREQUIN), a lower idler, and the belt tensioner. A callout instructs that the tensioner is rotated clockwise to relieve tension (TENSIONER — ROTATE CLOCKWISE / TENDEUR — TOURNER DANS LE SENS D'HORLOGE).
