1958 Volkswagen Beetle Specs & Photos
The 1958 Volkswagen Beetle replaced the oval rear window with a much larger rectangular one and enlarged the windshield, changes made at the August 1957 production changeover. A flatter, redesigned dashboard arrived at the same time. Power stayed with the 1192cc engine rated 36 hp SAE gross, carried since 1954.
