1974 Volkswagen Beetle Specs & Photos

The 1974 Volkswagen Beetle met the new US 5 mph bumper standard with heavier bumpers mounted on self-restoring energy absorbers. Volkswagen marked the year with special editions including the metallic-gold Sun Bug. The dual-port 1600 continued in both standard and Super Beetle bodies.
