Ford E-150

1975 Ford E-150 Specs & Photos

The 1975 Ford E-150 introduced the E-150 designation itself, slotting in as the heavy-duty half-ton of the renumbered Econoline range alongside the E-100, E-250, and E-350. The third-generation Econoline was all new for 1975, trading unibody construction for a full body-on-frame chassis and pushing the engine forward under a short snub nose hood, which moved the front axle ahead of the driver and eased engine access. Twin-I-Beam independent front suspension arrived from the F-Series playbook, on a choice of 124-inch or 138-inch wheelbases. The 300 cubic inch inline six was standard, with the 351 Windsor V8 as the principal upgrade.
