Ford E-150
1992 Ford E-150 Specs & Photos
The 1992 Ford E-150 was all new, launching the fourth-generation Econoline as the first ground-up redesign of Ford's full-size van since 1975. The van retained body-on-frame construction and Twin-I-Beam front suspension under a rounded aerodynamic body, and Ford promoted it as the first full-size van with a driver-side airbag. Engines carried over from the old van: the 4.9-liter inline six standard, with 5.0-liter and 5.8-liter Windsor V8s optional, now on a 138-inch wheelbase shared across the range.
