Ford E-150
1981 Ford E-150 Specs & Photos
The 1981 Ford E-150 sat mid-lineup in the Econoline range, above the light-duty E-100 that Ford kept in production through 1983 and below the E-250 and E-350. The 300 cubic inch inline six remained the standard engine, with the 302 and 351 Windsor V8s optional, all on the Twin-I-Beam body-on-frame chassis in 124-inch and 138-inch wheelbases. Early 1980s model years brought emissions-driven calibration changes rather than styling revisions, and the rectangular-headlamp front end introduced for 1979 continued unchanged.
