Ford E-150
1989 Ford E-150 Specs & Photos
The 1989 Ford E-150 gained access to Ford's new E4OD, an electronically controlled four-speed overdrive automatic introduced across the truck line that year as a successor to the three-speed C6. The fuel-injected engine roster was unchanged: the 4.9-liter inline six standard, with 5.0-liter and 5.8-liter Windsor V8s optional. The third-generation platform was entering its final stretch, with a full replacement arriving for 1992.
