Ford E-150
1986 Ford E-150 Specs & Photos
The 1986 Ford E-150 began the Econoline's move from carburetors to electronic fuel injection, with the optional 5.0-liter V8 adopting EFI this year. The standard 4.9-liter inline six stayed carbureted for one more season before gaining injection for 1987. Beyond the fuel system, the formula was unchanged: third-generation body-on-frame construction, Twin-I-Beam front suspension, and 124-inch or 138-inch wheelbases.
