2001 Ford F-150 Power Seat Wiring Diagram - Fuse 112 30A, Motors & Wire Colors
Wiring diagram of the power seat control switch and front/rear height and fore-aft motors with color-coded wires.
This is a wiring diagram for a power seat circuit. Power originates from Fuse 112, a 30A fuse in the Battery Junction Box, on a circuit that is hot at all times. A dark green (DK GRN) wire feeds pin 4 of the Power Seat Control Switch. The switch contains three sections: Front of Seat (DN/UP), Entire Seat (FWD/RWD and DN/UP), and Rear of Seat (DN/UP). Switch outputs run through pins 1 (YEL/LT BLU), 5 (RED/LT BLU), 6 (RED/WHT), 7 (YEL/WHT), 3 (YEL/LT GRN), and 2 (RED/LT GRN) to the Power Seat Motor Assembly, which contains three reversible motors: the Front Height Motor, the Forward/Reverse Motor, and the Rear Height Motor. The ground path leaves the switch on pin 8 via a black (BLK) wire through splice S304 to ground point G203. Connector cavities are marked NCA. A reader can use this diagram to identify the fuse feeding the power seat, trace each wire color to its corresponding motor, and locate the splice and ground point for diagnosing power seat failures such as a seat that will not move in one or more directions. The diagram carries reference number 114140.

Frequently asked questions
- What fuse powers the power seat circuit in this diagram?
- Fuse 112, a 30A fuse located in the Battery Junction Box, on a circuit that is hot at all times.
- What motors are in the power seat motor assembly?
- Three motors: the Front Height Motor, the Forward/Reverse Motor, and the Rear Height Motor.
- What wire colors go to the front height motor?
- YEL/LT BLU (pin 1) and RED/LT BLU (pin 5) from the power seat control switch.
- Where does the power seat switch get its ground?
- Pin 8 of the switch connects via a BLK wire through splice S304 to ground G203.
- What wire feeds power to the seat switch?
- A DK GRN (dark green) wire from Fuse 112 (30A) in the Battery Junction Box to pin 4 of the Power Seat Control Switch.
