Ford Super Duty / Excursion Power Seat Wiring Diagram - Driver Seat Motor & Switch
Wiring diagram of the driver front seat adjust switch and power seat motor assembly with color-coded circuits.
This document is a wiring diagram for the driver-side (left) power seat circuit on a Ford truck (references to PICKUP, EXCURSION, and SUPER CAB variants indicate a Super Duty/Excursion application). Power originates from the Central Junction Box (CJB), Fuse 112 (30A), which is hot at all times, feeding a dark green (DK GRN) wire through connector C270I pin 5 to the driver side front seat adjust switch (pin 4 except Super Cab, pin 7 on Super Cab). The switch controls three seat motors in the left power seat motor assembly: forward/rearward, front up/down, and rear up/down. Wire colors from the switch to the motors are RED/WHT and YEL/WHT (forward/rearward), YEL/LT BLU and RED/LT BLU (front up/down), and YEL/LT GRN and RED/LT GRN (rear up/down), with pin numbers differing between Super Cab and non-Super Cab configurations. The ground circuit uses a black (BLK) wire through splice S301 (without heated seats) or S332 (with heated seats) to ground G900 on pickups or G301 on the Excursion. Switch functions shown include ST DN/ST UP, FWD/RWD, and two DN/UP positions. The diagram is stamped with reference number 185476.

Frequently asked questions
- What fuse powers the driver side power seat?
- Fuse 112, a 30A fuse in the Central Junction Box (CJB), which is hot at all times.
- What wire colors run to the seat motors?
- RED/WHT and YEL/WHT for the forward/rearward motor, YEL/LT BLU and RED/LT BLU for the front up/down motor, and YEL/LT GRN and RED/LT GRN for the rear up/down motor.
- Where does the power seat circuit ground?
- Through a BLK wire via splice S301 (without heated seats) or S332 (with heated seats) to ground G900 on the Pickup or G301 on the Excursion.
- What motors are in the left power seat motor assembly?
- Three motors: forward/rearward, front up/down, and rear up/down.
- Do Super Cab models use different switch pins?
- Yes. The diagram shows separate pin numbers for Super Cab (marked 2) and except Super Cab (marked 1), e.g., power in at pin 4 except Super Cab vs. pin 7 on Super Cab.
