2001 Ford Excursion & Super Duty F-250/F-550 Heated Seats Wiring Diagram
Wiring diagram for driver and passenger heated seats showing switches, modules and color-coded circuits.
This is a factory-style wiring diagram titled "Heated Seats" for the 2001 Ford Excursion and Super Duty Series F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 (Pickup variant shown). It shows the complete heated seat circuits for both driver and passenger seats. Power in RUN comes from a 15A fuse (position 28) in the Central Junction Box on circuit 295 LB/PK through connectors C242b and splices S334 (driver) and S335 (passenger) to the driver and passenger heated seat switches. Constant battery power comes from a 30A fuse (position 15) in the Battery Junction Box on circuit 1153 RD/BK through connectors C1049M/F, C217F/M, and splice S223 to both solid-state heated seat modules (driver module connector C334, passenger connector C343 area). Each module drives the seat heater/temperature sensor (circuits 1060 BK/LB, 1061 BN/LB, 1064 YE/LB, 1067 VT/LB) and the seat back heater (circuit 1066 GY/LB) through connectors C332/C331 (driver) and C341/C340 (passenger). Switch outputs use circuits 1020 DG/VT and 461 OG (driver) and 581 RD and 461 OG (passenger). Grounding is via circuit 57 BK to ground point G900. The diagram identifies all connector numbers, pin numbers, wire circuit numbers, and wire colors needed to diagnose or retrofit heated seats.
This document covers 2001, which may differ from this 1994 Ford Bronco.

Frequently asked questions
- What fuse powers the heated seats on the 2001 Excursion/Super Duty?
- Two feeds are shown: a 15A fuse at position 28 in the Central Junction Box (hot in RUN) feeds the heated seat switches on circuit 295 LB/PK, and a 30A fuse at position 15 in the Battery Junction Box (hot at all times) feeds the heated seat modules on circuit 1153 RD/BK.
- What wire colors are used in the heated seat circuits?
- 295 LB/PK (switched power), 1153 RD/BK (battery power), 1020 DG/VT and 581 RD (switch signal, driver/passenger), 461 OG, 1060 BK/LB, 1061 BN/LB, 1064 YE/LB, 1067 VT/LB (seat heater/temperature sensor), 1066 GY/LB (seat back heater), and 57 BK (ground).
- Where do the heated seat modules ground?
- Both driver and passenger heated seat modules ground through circuit 57 BK to ground point G900.
- Which connectors are used for the driver heated seat components?
- C242b, C320M/C320F, C333 (switch), C334 (module), C332 (seat heater/temperature sensor), and C331 (seat back heater).
- What vehicles does this heated seat diagram cover?
- The diagram states it applies to the 2001 Excursion and Super Duty Series F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 (Pickup version shown).
